If you run Little Tagger on a MacBook that has a Touch Bar, you can benefit from quick access to the most common functions of the main popover window. In combination with Keyboard Shortcuts, it's possible to use the app without using your mouse.
The Touch Bar extension gives you quick access to Close
, Load Profiles
, Include Subfolder Items
, Include File Aliases
, Remove Tags
, File Type Filters
, Execution Options
and to Execute
the tagging job.
If you have the Touch Bar 1st generation, you don't have a physical esc
key. Regardless of the Touch Bar version, pressing esc
will close the popover.
Tapping the Profiles
button opens the list of saved profiles in the Touch Bar. If you have more profiles than the Touch Bar screen allows to show, simply swipe to the left to scroll further along the list. Selecting a profile, will load it in the popover window. You close the list of profiles and return to the previous Touch Bar buttons by tapping the X
button.
The functions to Include Subfolder Items
, Include File Aliases
and Remove Tags
are implemented as toggle switches in the main popover window. To toggle those switches, simply tap on one of those buttons. They will resemble the state of being switched on by being highlighted. If switched on, tapping them again will switch them off.
Tapping the File Type Filters
button opens the list of filter options for file types. Pressing one will select and set it in the main window. Swipe to the left to scroll to the options that are not currently visible.
Tapping the Execution Options
button opens the list of execution options. Pressing one will select and set it in the main window.
Tapping the Execute
button will start the tagging job as it would, when pressing the button in the main window.
